Paris is one of those giant metropolises that one either loves or hates.

Personally, I literally have no real opinion. On the one hand I see it as any other big, large, old, European city - there are amazing restaurants, museums, record stores, and people. The coffee is decent and the pastry (the breads especially) are solid. On the other hand, it is horribly overrun with tourists and crowds and the messes they create.

That being said - it is always a good time. The locals always make it worth it.
